Each Black Business Paving the Way for Another
Build Black Owned Dual Business Startup Cooperative will be a part of the movement to see tangible changes in the Black community. It is a known fact that the Black Community does not have enough ownership of businesses which produce environments for the creation of additional jobs. Leaving the community to fend for themselves to figure out how to create their own company alone or worse seek jobs from our open oppressors. This disparity has led to a lack of wealth accumulation and economic empowerment within the community.
While Black-owned businesses have grown significantly in recent years, they still make up a small share of firms and revenue in the country. Supporting Black businesses, or “buying Black,” has been identified as an effective strategy for moving Black people toward equality in the United States. However, there must still continue to be initiatives and businesses that are paving the way for change and inclusivity in the retail and job creation sectors. We are pleased to present our initiative!
Introducing the Build Black Owned Dual Business Startup Cooperative, a groundbreaking opportunity to support and empower the Black community while building your own successful business.
Our flagship offering, the “Store in a Box,” is a comprehensive e-commerce solution that provides everything you need to launch and grow your online store.
How Does the Store in a Box Help Build Economic Stability Within the Black Community?
The “Store in a Box” initiative plays a crucial role in building economic stability within the Black community by providing a platform for Black entrepreneurs to establish and grow their businesses. This initiative not only offers the necessary tools and resources for individuals to launch their online stores but also operates on a unique sponsorship model. For every full-price purchase of a “Store in a Box,” another Black entrepreneur is sponsored to acquire the same package at a discounted rate. This approach creates a network of support and collaboration, allowing more individuals from the Black community to enter the e-commerce space and contribute to the economic growth of the community.
Furthermore, the sponsored “Store in a Box” maintains an advertisement for the sponsor’s store for the first year or until they sponsor two discounted stores, thereby promoting visibility and driving traffic to the sponsor’s business. This reciprocal support system fosters a sustainable environment for Black-owned businesses to thrive and succeed.
In addition to the direct support provided to individual entrepreneurs, the “Store in a Box” initiative contributes to the overall economic stability of the Black community by promoting conscious consumerism and the patronage of Black-owned businesses. By facilitating the establishment of multiple online stores and encouraging consumers to support these businesses, the initiative contributes to the circulation of wealth within the community and the empowerment of Black entrepreneurs.
Overall, the “Store in a Box” initiative stands out for its holistic approach to economic empowerment, combining practical resources with a sponsorship model that fosters collaboration and mutual support within the Black business community. This unique opportunity not only enables individuals to pursue their entrepreneurial aspirations but also contributes to the broader goal of building a strong and sustainable Black economy.

How It Works
The “Store in a Box” operates on a unique sponsorship model, where each full-price purchase of the package sponsors another Black entrepreneur’s discounted purchase of the same package. The sponsored store maintains an advertisement for the sponsor’s store for the first year or until they sponsor two discounted stores, creating a network of support and collaboration within the Black business community.
In addition to the standard package, there are also product upgrades available, such as the ability to source directly from the Members Only online warehouse, have the storefront displayed in the Power Through Peace and Unity Store, make product requests, and access premade website banners.
The “Store in a Box” is designed to provide a complete and accessible solution for Black entrepreneurs to establish and grow their online businesses, while also fostering economic stability and collaboration within the Black community.
Each of the elements included in the Store in a Box is important for both new and established entrepreneurs as they can help establish a strong online presence, build credibility, attract and retain customers, and drive business success.
Emphasis on Niche Specific Storefronts for Profits
A niche-specific storefront is important for revenue for several reasons. Firstly, it allows businesses to target a specific segment within a market that is often overlooked by other businesses, leading to less competition and potentially higher profits. Additionally, niche products tend to have more loyal customers, as the more specific and niche a company/product is, the more loyal customers will be to buying from them exclusively. Moreover, focusing on a specific niche can lead to increased authenticity, credibility, and customer trust, as well as the ability to personalize products and services to the target audience, which in turn encourages customer loyalty. Niche marketing can also lead to product and service innovation, as businesses focus on meeting the unique needs of a specific market segment, when included in the overall structure. Niching down opens a path for the Black entrepreneur by building authority and increased chance for market and product expertise.
All the Tools Needed in One Box
The requirement to have large sums of capital to enter the retail space because of large minimum order amounts is eliminated with this solution. The Store in a Box is tailored to assist the Black Entrepreneur with the key pieces to starting, maintaining and scaling their online store successfully. Leverage Our Research
We’ve taken years to acquire distribution connections, discover quality products and services to share. We’ve invested years to learn how to use them in concert with our mission to economically impact the lives of Black communities. We encourage the use of our research to streamline each storefront’s success.
Uniquely Black
By using WordPress Themes as a key component of the building structure, entrepreneurs have hundreds if not thousands of website design choices. The Store in a Box allows the Black entrepreneur to choose any theme from the WordPress Repository as a base before it is crafted to make it uniquely their own. Most Themes have free and paid versions. However, we highly encourage our participants who are just getting started to use the Starter Templates prior to transitioning to professional packages.
Each One Teach Many
The Dual Business Startup Cooperative Initiative will drastically increase the number of Black entrepreneurs that have access to learn and grow individually and with the community. With each participant gaining hands on experience and real time training in the wholesale/retail, website design/website maintenance and internet marketing industries at the same time, there will be new experts. We will motivate our new experts to share their knowledge with their families, friends and community.
