BUILD A COOPERATIVE WITH ME ENTRY 5

I posted a topic titled, How Are You Creating Job Growth, on a Black Owned site whose name I will not mention, after discovering the statistics relating to the power of the Black Dollar. I discovered 80% of the Black Owned Businesses have Zero employees. This greatly concerned me, as I believed it was local to my Community. Obviously, I was incorrect. The Topic read the following:
THIS TOPIC IS FOR ENTREPRENEURS ONLY
It is an apparent fact that since the plandemic more and more people have taken to online work and entrepreneurship. More than ever, it appears everyone has their own online boutique or YouTube channel. However, more and more people, especially of color, are facing massive threats of job loss due to the plandemic and mandates. Whether you are selling T-Shirts, hand-crafted items, or services; the three questions I pose to you is the same.

1. HOW ARE YOU CREATING JOBS FOR OUR COMMUNITY?

2. HOW MANY EMPLOYEES DO YOU PLAN TO EMPLOY IN THE NEXT 10 YEARS?

3. IF THE ANSWER IS LESS THAN 10 FOR QUESTION 2., PLEASE ADVISE WHY.

I would like to open this discussion because I believe We as a Community have to create the jobs for Us. I believe if We all can collaborate with bringing each respective industry to form Our Own Coalitions, it could definitely reduce overhead and allow the profit margins to increase while employing those in Our Community. This is because there is power in collective bargaining. How many of Our T-shirt Companies require 50/50 blend? How many Jewelry Makers require gold lobster claw closures? How many of Our Beauty Supply stores order 22-inch Brazilian? These are just three examples of what could be purchased in bulk on a large scale that would not affect the branding of your items but would definitely reduce the cost per item. This is also the beauty of Us coming together to build Cooperatives. However, I would like Your Answers to these three questions and Your follow up commentary. Thank you, in advance to all of the Entrepreneurs who participate in this Topic.’

I was shocked when I received absolutely no answers in a Community of thousands of Us. I am concerned that Our Community openly speaks about economic oppression but, does not openly speak about creating Economic Opportunities. We know the amount of credit extended for loans and other ventures is based on your income. We know you can’t bite the hand that feeds you. So, my question is who are you feeding besides You & Yours? How are You contributing to the overall good of the community? How are You placing Yourself amongst the people instead of above, the People. There can be No Revolutionary Cause that will stand when You’re expecting to be funded by Your Open Enemy.

Building Cooperatives ensure We are working for a common good of ALL members. It means We Fund Our Own Ventures by pooling Our Resources and reinvesting into Our People & Our Institutions. It means keeping Our Money in Our Community, as much as possible. It means becoming Producers, Manufacturers & Distributors. It means Building Within Our Own Communities First, before providing charity to others. There are many benefits of being a part of a Cooperative and Job Creation is one of the Most Important for Us on a Whole.

It is my sincere heart’s desire that You will build a Cooperative with me so we can employ more than 10k employees by 2047.

I look forward to building with You. I stand ready and available to listen to your concerns and to answer any questions you may have.

Blessings & Peace,

-Faith Hope
